Mark Burgess joined Diversey as chief executive officer in December 2018.
Prior to joining Diversey, Mark served as CEO of Signode Industrial Group (SIG), a $2.4 billion global manufacturer of industrial packaging consumables, tools and equipment with 88 manufacturing facilities across six continents. He joined SIG in March 2014 after The Carlyle Group’s acquisition of SIG from Illinois Tool Works, Inc. Prior to that role, Mark served as CEO of Graham Packaging Company, Inc. a $3 billion global manufacturer of rigid plastic containers, working there from December 2007 to April 2012. As CEO, Mark led the firm’s IPO in 2010 and subsequent sale to Reynolds Group Holdings in 2011. Earlier in his career, he served as CEO and CFO of Anchor Glass Container Corporation, a U.S. manufacturer of glass containers, from May 2005 until September 2006. He also previously served as executive vice president and CFO of Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. from April 2003 to April 2005. Between 1990 and 2003, Mark held senior financial and operational management roles at JL French Automotive Castings and Trailmobile Corporation, and prior to that, he served as a vice president at Chase Manhattan Bank.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Dickinson College and a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Mark serves on the board of directors of Eastman Kodak Company and serves on the board of trustees for Dickinson College. He was previously the Chairman of the Clondalkin Group, a global manufacturer of flexible and specialty plastic packaging solutions, where he served as a director from December 2012 (becoming chairman in June 2013) until December 2016, and is a former director of the Polymer Group, where he served from March 2011 to June 2013.

Mark Burgess
Phil Wieland joined Diversey as chief financial officer in July 2019.
Prior to joining Diversey, he was Group Chief Financial Officer (and for two years UK Chief Executive Officer) of Brakes Group. Before joining Brakes he spent five years as Group Chief Financial Officer of General Healthcare Group, the UK's largest private hospital group. Prior to this, Mr. Wieland spent eight years at BSkyB where he held a range of senior finance positions including Group Financial Controller, Head of Supply Chain Finance and Head of Sky Sports Finance. He started his career and qualified as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Wieland received a First Class degree in Maths from the University of Leeds.

Phil Wieland
Mark Copeland has served as chief innovation and marketing officer since November 2018. In this role, he leads global marketing, strategy, M&A, and R&D organizations for the company.
Previously, Mark served as chief marketing office and SVP, product innovation for Restaurant Technologies where he led his team of marketing, commercial, engineering, technical, and training experts to not only build a new integrated marketing strategy, but also re-brand the company, overhaul its value proposition, and drive the launch of AutoMist, a disruptive automated restaurant hood cleaning system. Prior to that role, he was VP of marketing for the Hospitality, Healthcare, and Commercial (HHC) business segments of Ecolab’s North American institutional business, where he developed a new sales and service model for distributors, field sales, and corporate accounts, and launched 11 new products and service platforms. Earlier in his career, Mark spent 17 years at SC Johnson where he managed well-known brands such as Windex, Glade, and Raid across many geographies.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Cambridge, UK.

Mark Copeland
Michael Del Priore has served as chief information officer since October 2017. In this role, he leads Diversey’s global Information Technology function in executing the IT roadmap and developing a best-in-class IT team.
Prior to joining Diversey, Michael served as SVP and CIO of Catalent Pharma Solutions where he led the development of a new global IT strategy and launched a series of initiatives to digitize processes to enable speed, efficiency, and growth. Prior to that role, Michael served as VP, Global CIO for Church & Dwight where he led the development of a new IT strategy that transformed the organization and how it leverages technology. Earlier in his career, Michael held a number of IT leadership roles at Roche Pharma and Philip Morris (Altria) after launching his career as a consultant at Andersen.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems from the University at Albany SUNY, and a Master of Business Administration in corporate finance from Pace University.

Michael Del Priore
Suzanne Thompson has served as chief technology officer, including regulatory, since 2015.
Over her 30 years of experience, Suzanne has served as an R&D leader in the cleaning and hygiene business and has a proven track record of setting a strategy and vision, building a high-performing organization and delivering growth through a robust innovation pipeline. Prior to joining Diversey, Suzanne worked for The Clorox Company where she led the company’s adjacency strategy, global technology, and open innovation teams. Her worked resulted in Clorox’s purchase of Renew Life in 2016 and numerous innovation awards including Outstanding Corporate Innovator from Product Development Management Association (PDMA).
Suzanne holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from University of California at Berkeley.
Suzanne is a member of the PDMA board of directors.

Suzanne Thompson
Lex Tiedemann has served as chief supply chain officer since September 2017. In this role, Lex is responsible for global procurement, manufacturing, planning, logistics, and customer service.
Over his 34 years of experience, Lex has held a number of progressive leadership positions in supply chain, operations, purchasing, portfolio complexity reduction, manufacturing, customer care, and technical customer service. Prior his current role, he served as VP, supply chain EMEA for Sealed Air Corporation.
Lex holds a master’s degree, cum laude, in applied physics, from Delft University of Technology.

Lex Tiedemann
Gaetano Redaelli has served as global president, Professional division since October 2018. In this role, he leads professional market sector organizations in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, China, and Latin America, as well as global strategic accounts, commercial excellence, and global consumer brands and e-commerce for the company. Diversey professional market sectors include hospitality, health care, building service, retail, and food service.
Gaeatano joined Diversey in 1988 and has held a variety of roles in regional and global roles in sales, marketing, corporate account management, strategic planning, and performance management, mainly in the food and beverage market. Prior to his current role, Gaetano served as president of Europe for Diversey. Earlier in his career, he led Diversey’s food and beverage business in EMEA, as well as global corporate accounts. He has also led global marketing, strategic planning and business operations, and served as managing director for Diversey’s businesses in Italy and UK & Ireland.
Gaetano holds a master’s degree in marketing from Cranfield University and a doctorate in food science from Università degli Studi di Milano.

Gaetano Redaelli
Ruud Verheul has served as global president, Food & Beverage division since October 2018. In this role, he leads the food & beverage market sector organizations in North America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa, as well as global strategic accounts, global knowledge-based services, and project engineering for the company. Diversey food & beverage market sectors include food processing, dairy, pharmaceutical, beverage, brewing, and agriculture.
Ruud joined Diversey in 1986 and has held a variety of professional and F&B roles in research, development, innovation, portfolio management and marketing. Prior to his current role, Ruud served as global VP of F&B. Earlier in his career, his roles included VP, food care hygiene solutions EMEA; VP, F&B Europe; and beverage and dairy sector director Europe.
Ruud holds a master’s degree in physical and colloid chemistry from the University of Utrecht and in chemical technology from the University of Amsterdam.

Ruud Verheul
Mike Chapman has served as general counsel for Diversey since September 2017. In this role, he leads the global legal and internal audit departments.
Previously, Mike served as VP, regional general counsel EMEA for Sealed Air Corporation. Prior to that role, he served as UK and Ireland legal counsel for Solvay S.A., a Belgian multi-national chemicals company. In this role he was responsible for all legal and environmental affairs, and served on the UK Group management board. Earlier in his career, Mike worked for the UK multi-national chemicals company Laporte PLC, where he served as legal counsel responsible for the global legal affairs of the joint venture between Interox hydrogen peroxide and Solvay S.A.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in law from the University of Nottingham, UK.
Mike was one of the founding board members of the UK Commerce and Industry Association Central Region, bringing professional updates and training to in-house legal professionals.

Mike Chapman
Paul Budsworth has served as president, North America since 2015. In this role he leads a sales and marketing team of over 600 employees.
Paul is a 28-year veteran of Diversey and has held several progressive leadership roles across a number of global regions, including Middle East, Europe and Asia. His career has predominantly been in sales, marketing, and innovation. Previous roles in Diversey include Global Innovation Leader, General Manager UK/Ireland, VP Food Service and Retail Europe, and VP Sealed Air South East Asia.
Paul, a British national, earned a Bachelor of Science in pure mathematics from Manchester University in the UK.
Paul is a board member of Virox Technologies Inc., a Canadian company dedicated to engineering revolutionary disinfectants for the war against microbes.

Paul Budsworth
Somer Gundogdu has served as president, EMEA since October 2018. In this role, he leads professional market sector organizations across Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Over his more than 25 years of experience, Somer has held a variety of roles in R&D, supply chain, marketing, corporate account management, and general management. Prior to his current role, Somer was president of Middle East and Africa for Diversey. During his 15 years with Diversey, his roles included sales, marketing, corporate account management, and general management. Earlier in his career, Somer worked for Unilever covering a range of responsibilities including sales, marketing, supply chain, and R&D for B2C and B2B markets.
Somer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Bogazici University in Turkey and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Tech.

Somer Gundogdu
Jorge Hileman has served as president, Latin America since 2013, where he leads professional market sector organizations across the region.
Jorge joined Johnson Wax in 1997 where he served in key financial roles including regional finance director for LATAM, and led several regional projects including the business integration of JohnsonDiversey. Later, he led the redesign of Diversey Care’s business and organizational models after the acquisition by Sealed Air. Prior to joining Johnson Wax, Jorge held finance and strategic planning positions at several global companies including Cargill and Anderson Consulting.
Jorge holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad Catolica Argentina and a master’s in business administration from the Instituto de desarrollo Empresarial Argentino.

Jorge Hileman
Himanshu Jain serves as president, APAC since October 2018. In this role, he leads professional market sector organizations across Asia Pacific and China.
Himanshu is a 15-year veteran of Diversey and has held several progressive leadership roles. He joined JohnsonDiversey India in 2003 to lead the food hygiene business. His accomplishments include leading the Philippines operations to become most profitable in the region in 2007. Himanshu also led the post-merger business integration for India when Diversey was acquired by Sealed Air. Prior to joining Diversey, Himanshu worked with ExxonMobil and Unilever India.
Himanshu holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from HBTI, Kanpur and a master’s degree in process design from IIT Delhi, India.
Himanshu is a board member of the Indian Council for Competitiveness and Management Council for Enactus, a global non-profit organization engaged in promoting social entrepreneurship amongst young adults.
